Our Second Trimester Speaking Project, titled «My Daily Routine,» was a dynamic speaking and writing activity designed to help students practice the Simple Present tense in an authentic context. By taking 4-5 photos of their personal lives, including their morning, afternoon, and night routines, kids engaged deeply with the language because the subject matter is entirely about them.
This activity was intentionally designed to develop essential cognitive and linguistic abilities. It was also fun and creative because it allowed students to photograph their favorite activities and explain why they enjoy them. We keep practicing speaking slowly and clearly in front of the class. By combining visual, written, and oral communication, the project ensures that kids strengthen their overall English fluency in a supportive and integrated way.
The Speaking Project transformed a standard grammar lesson into an enjoyable storytelling experience that keeps our students motivated and excited to share their world with their classmates.
Mi Rutina Diaria
Nuestro segundo proyecto de expresión oral del trimestre fue una actividad dinámica de habla y escritura diseñada para que los alumnos practiquen el presente simple en un contexto auténtico. Al tomar de 4 a 5 fotografías de su vida personal, incluyendo sus rutinas de la mañana, tarde y noche, los niños se involucraron profundamente con el idioma porque el tema trata totalmente sobre ellos.
Esta actividad fue diseñada intencionalmente para desarrollar habilidades cognitivas y lingüísticas esenciales. También resultó divertida y creativa porque permitió a los estudiantes fotografiar sus actividades favoritas y explicar por qué las disfrutan. Seguimos practicando el hablar lento y claro frente a la clase. Al combinar la comunicación visual, escrita y oral, el proyecto garantiza que los niños fortalezcan su fluidez general en inglés de una manera solidaria e integrada.
Este proyecto de expresión oral transformó una lección de gramática estándar en una experiencia de narración agradable que mantiene a nuestros estudiantes motivados y emocionados por compartir su mundo con sus compañeros de clase.
