Fourth-grade students worked on the grammatical topic of the Simple Present tense through a hands-on and student-centered learning activity. In order to make this grammatical structure more meaningful and conscious, students created a craft focused on their daily routine on their favorite day.
As part of the activity, learners wrote affirmative sentences using the Simple Present to describe habitual actions and everyday activities. They also included illustrations and visual representations to support written language and reinforce comprehension. This activity promoted contextualized grammar practice, encouraged creativity, and supported the development of writing skills and language awareness.
Mi día favorito, una oración a la vez
Los estudiantes de cuarto grado trabajaron el tema “Presente Simple” a través de una actividad práctica y centrada en el alumno. Con el objetivo de hacer este conocimiento más significativo y consciente, los estudiantes realizaron una manualidad basada en la rutina diaria de su día favorito.
Durante la actividad, los alumnos escribieron oraciones afirmativas utilizando el Presente Simple para describir acciones habituales y actividades cotidianas. Además, incorporaron dibujos y representaciones visuales como apoyo al lenguaje escrito para reforzar la comprensión. Esta propuesta fomenta la práctica gramatical contextualizada, estimula la creatividad y fortalece el desarrollo de las habilidades de escritura y la conciencia lingüística.
