Last week we went to the Light Lab to review the letters from the first block we have been working on for these months. The kids were very excited because the Light Lab is always a special place for them, as it is full of colors and various materials.
During this class, we worked in learning stations; each one was designed to help them practice letters in a different and fun way. We had 3 stations:
Tracing Station: Students followed each letter using materials on the light table; they had to use their grip.
Letter Hunt Station: At this station, students searched for the plastic letters that I had named. They had to pick them up using tweezers, which made the challenge even more exciting and also helped their fine motor skills.
Building Station: Kids used different materials to build each letter. They got very creative and enjoyed building out the letters
During this class, we continued developing their fine motor skills.
This activity was incredible, and kids were fully engaged from beginning to end. For them, working in the Light Lab is always fantastic because they enjoy this room a lot.
Luz, Juego y Letras
La semana pasada fuimos al salón de luz para repasar las letras del primer bloque en el que hemos estado trabajando durante estos meses. Los niños estaban muy emocionados porque el salón de luz siempre es un lugar especial para ellos, ya que está lleno de colores y materiales.
Durante esta clase trabajamos por estaciones de aprendizaje, cada una diseñada para ayudarles a practicar las letras de una manera diferente y divertida. Tuvimos 3 estaciones:
Estación de Trazado: Los estudiantes siguieron cada letra utilizando materiales sobre la mesa de luz; tenían que usar su pinza (agarre).
Estación de Búsqueda de Letras: En esta estación, los estudiantes buscaban las letras de plástico que yo nombraba. Tenían que recogerlas usando unas pinzas, lo que hacía el desafío aún más emocionante y también ayudaba a desarrollar su motricidad fina.
Estación de Construcción: Los niños usaron diferentes materiales para construir cada letra. Se pusieron muy creativos y disfrutaron construyendo las letras.
Durante esta clase continuamos desarrollando su motricidad fina. Esta actividad fue increíble, y los niños estuvieron totalmente involucrados de principio a fin. Para ellos, trabajar en el Laboratorio de luz siempre es fantástico porque disfrutan mucho este espacio.
