Our little ones in K1 already recognize different colors, so one of our new activities was color mixing. The students experimented with primary colors to create new ones. They were surprised by the colors that appeared and made different hypotheses about the color that would be created by combining 2 of them.
Recognizing colors in preschool is an important developmental milestone that supports several key areas of a child’s growth and learning. Learning colors helps children categorize and compare objects, enhancing memory, attention, and thinking skills.
It is important to continue reviewing the colors at home and for the students to identify them in their environment, such as in the objects they use, in the street, in their toys, etc.
Mezcla de colores
Nuestros pequeños de K1 ya reconocen diferentes colores, por lo que una de nuestras nuevas actividades fue la mezcla de los mismos. Los alumnos experimentaron con los colores primarios para poder crear nuevos tonos. Se sorprendieron de los colores que aparecieron y realizaron diferentes hipótesis del color que se iba a crear al combinar 2 diferentes.
Reconocer los colores en preescolar es un hito significativo en el desarrollo que contribuye a varias áreas clave del crecimiento y el aprendizaje del niño. Ayuda a los niños a clasificar y comparar objetos, mejorando la memoria, la atención y las habilidades de pensamiento.
Es importante seguir repasando los colores en casa y que los alumnos los identifiquen en su entorno, en los objetos que usan, en la calle, en sus juguetes, etc.
