Our third graders worked really hard to prepare awesome presentations as part of a cooking project in which they had to present a recipe that was special to them. For this project, they had to create a poster that showed the ingredients and steps needed to prepare a dessert or dish they were fond of; explain why they had chosen to present that dish by relating it to a personal experience; bring a physical display of the ingredients, and show us how to carry out the recipe (they could also give out some samples if they wished to, which were absolutely delicious without exception). This project allowed students to practice their oral skills in a significant way while having fun and sharing with their classmates something they put a lot of effort in and got them feeling super excited. We want to congratulate them for such amazing presentations and also thank all the parents and family members involved in the process who made this project possible by accompanying our students every step of the way. All that hard work was worth it!

Nuestros alumnos de tercer grado trabajaron muy duro para preparar unas presentaciones increíbles como parte de un proyecto de cocina, en el que tuvieron que presentar una receta que fuera especial para ellos.
Para este proyecto, tuvieron que crear un cartel que mostrará los ingredientes y pasos necesarios para preparar un postre o platillo que les gustara, explicar por qué eligieron presentar ese platillo relacionándolo con una experiencia personal, traer una muestra física de los ingredientes, y enseñarnos cómo llevar a cabo la receta (también podían ofrecer pequeñas muestras si así lo deseaban, las cuales estuvieron deliciosas, sin excepción).
Esta actividad permitió a los estudiantes practicar sus habilidades orales de una manera significativa mientras se divertían y compartían con sus compañeros algo en lo que pusieron mucho esfuerzo y que los hizo sentir muy emocionados.
Queremos felicitarlos por tan asombrosas presentaciones y también agradecer a todos los padres y familiares involucrados en el proceso, quienes hicieron posible este proyecto al acompañar a nuestros estudiantes en cada paso del camino. ¡Todo ese trabajo valió la pena!
