Our recent Story Night was a truly magical experience that brought together children, families, and teachers for an evening full of imagination, laughter, and connection. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it was wonderful to see so many families gathered to share in the joy of storytelling.
The highlight of the evening was watching our teachers bring two beloved stories to life through engaging and playful performances. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and expressive acting captivated the audience from beginning to end. While kids and parents were enjoying the stories, they could enjoy delicious cookies and hot chocolate.
The first story, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt,” took families on an adventurous journey through different landscapes—tall grass, deep rivers, thick mud, and a dark forest. With interactive moments, children eagerly joined in as they followed the characters on their exciting quest. The suspense built up perfectly until the surprise encounter with the bear, leading to a fun and energetic retreat back home and to an unexpected end. It was a lively and participatory experience that had everyone smiling and fully engaged.
The second story, “Sleep, Big Bear, Sleep,” offered a calmer and cozy contrast. This gentle tale follows some forest animals trying to help a big bear get ready for winter hibernation. Despite some humorous misunderstandings along the way, the story unfolds with warmth and tenderness, emphasizing themes of patience, care, and the changing seasons. The soothing tone and charming interactions created a peaceful ending to the night, leaving children feeling relaxed and content.
Seeing children and parents laugh, participate, and enjoy the stories together made the evening truly special. We hope you enjoyed the stories and we look forward to many more nights like this!
Noche de cuentos
Nuestra reciente Noche de Cuentos fue una experiencia verdaderamente mágica que reunió a niños, familias y maestros para una velada llena de imaginación, risas y conexión. El ambiente fue cálido y acogedor, y fue maravilloso ver a tantas familias reunidas para compartir la alegría de la narración.
El momento más destacado de la noche fue ver a nuestras maestras dar vida a dos cuentos a través de presentaciones dinámicas y divertidas. Su entusiasmo, creatividad y actuación expresiva cautivaron al público de principio a fin. Mientras los niños y sus familias disfrutaban de los cuentos, también pudieron saborear deliciosas galletas y chocolate caliente.
El primer cuento, “Vamos a cazar un oso”, llevó a las familias a una aventura a través de diferentes paisajes: hierba alta, ríos profundos, lodo espeso y un bosque oscuro. Con momentos interactivos, los niños participaron con entusiasmo mientras seguían a los personajes en su emocionante travesía. El suspenso creció perfectamente hasta el encuentro sorpresa con el oso, que llevó a una divertida y enérgica huida de regreso a casa y a un final inesperado. Fue una experiencia dinámica y participativa que mantuvo a todos sonriendo y completamente involucrados.
El segundo cuento, “Duerme, oso grande, duerme”, ofreció un contraste más tranquilo y acogedor. Esta historia suave sigue a algunos animales del bosque que intentan ayudar a un gran oso a prepararse para la hibernación de invierno. A pesar de algunos malentendidos graciosos en el camino, la historia se desarrolla con calidez y ternura, resaltando temas como la paciencia, el cuidado y el cambio de estaciones. El tono relajante y las encantadoras interacciones crearon un cierre tranquilo para la noche, dejando a los niños relajados y contentos.
Ver a los niños y a sus familias reír, participar y disfrutar juntos de las historias hizo que la velada fuera realmente especial. ¡Esperamos que hayan disfrutado los cuentos y esperamos con entusiasmo muchas noches más como esta!
