In our English classes, we have learned that improving vocabulary doesn’t require long hours of study. With just 15 minutes of daily review, students strengthen their memory, expand their vocabulary, and gain confidence. These small daily habits greatly support their preparation for the Cambridge exams.
One of the highlights of the trimester was our exciting English Escape Room. Students worked in teams to complete challenges such as finding a secret word, solving a math riddle, completing grammatically correct sentences, and practicing reading skills by identifying the main idea, key words, and the author’s opinion in short texts.
Beyond reinforcing academic content, the Escape Room strengthened teamwork, communication, leadership, and creative problem-solving. It was truly inspiring to see how students encouraged each other and celebrated every clue they unlocked.
With meaningful routines and engaging experiences like this, our students continue to grow with confidence on their journey toward Cambridge success.
Descifrando el camino al éxito: Nuestro Escape Room de inglés
En nuestras clases de inglés hemos comprobado que mejorar el vocabulario no requiere horas de estudio. Con solo 15 minutos de repaso diario, los alumnos fortalecen su memoria, amplían su vocabulario y se sienten más seguros, convirtiendo esta práctica en una rutina que realmente disfrutan. Estos hábitos diarios apoyan enormemente la preparación para las certificaciones de Cambridge, brindándoles una base sólida para las tareas de lectura, escritura, speaking y listening.
Uno de los momentos más emocionantes del trimestre fue nuestro Escape Room de inglés. En equipos, los alumnos resolvieron retos como encontrar la palabra secreta, resolver un acertijo matemático, completar oraciones gramaticalmente correctas y practicar lectura identificando la idea principal, palabras clave y la opinión del autor en textos breves.
Además de reforzar contenidos académicos, el Escape Room fortaleció el trabajo en equipo, la comunicación, el liderazgo y la resolución creativa de problemas. Fue inspirador ver cómo se apoyaban y celebraban cada pista resuelta.
Con rutinas significativas y actividades tan motivadoras como esta, nuestros estudiantes avanzan con seguridad en su camino hacia el éxito en Cambridge.
