In our Nursery program, the Reggio Emilia philosophy is present in every planned activity and class. We aim to create stimulating environments where exploration, observation, inquiry, and the construction of their own knowledge become a natural part of learning.
Recently, the children became interested in the leaves falling from the trees in our playground. Using magnifying glasses, they observed the lines, colors, and textures. Afterwards, they created their own frames to display the leaves they collected and decorated them with paint, turning their curiosity into a creative and meaningful experience.
As Loris Malaguzzi reminds us, “Children have a hundred languages, a hundred ways of thinking, of playing, of speaking,” showing us that every experience is an opportunity to express and build knowledge.
La filosofía Reggio Emilia en nuestro día a día
En nuestro Nursery, la filosofía Reggio Emilia está presente en cada actividad y clase planeada. Buscamos crear ambientes estimulantes donde la exploración, la observación, la indagación y la creación de conocimientos propios sean parte natural del aprendizaje.
Recientemente, los niños se interesaron por las hojas que caen de los árboles del patio. Con lupas, observaron sus líneas, colores y texturas. Después, elaboraron sus propios marcos para pegar las hojas que encontraron y los decoraron con pintura, convirtiendo su curiosidad en una experiencia creativa y significativa.
Como afirma Loris Malaguzzi: “Los niños tienen cien lenguajes, cien maneras de pensar, de jugar y de hablar”, recordándonos que cada experiencia es una oportunidad para expresar y construir conocimiento.
