Last week 3rd grade students celebrated our annual last day of the school year, alternatively known as «Dia 1095».
This is a day organised by the students and for the students as throughout the year they were raising money for this special event. The students raised over $20000! We have some astute business people in our ranks!
The day started with a parade through the 3 schools, students donned their graduation outfits and walked through Happy Kinder, Primary School and High as they were cheered on by their younger peers and teacher.
Next up, time to get wet! The students used the money they had collected by renting aquatic inflatables including a large slide, slip n slide and a foam machine.
To finish, the students sat together and ate tacos as they shared their memories of the last 12 years.
A great day had by all, I hope dearly that the students enjoyed their last day in Vila High.
La semana pasada, los alumnos de tercer grado celebraron nuestro tradicional último día del ciclo escolar, también conocido como “Día 1095”.
Este es un día organizado por los estudiantes y para los estudiantes; durante todo el año estuvieron recaudando fondos para este evento tan especial. ¡Lograron juntar más de $20,000! ¡Definitivamente tenemos algunos talentos empresariales entre nosotros!
El día comenzó con un desfile por las tres escuelas; los estudiantes se pusieron sus atuendos de graduación y recorrieron Happy Kinder, Primaria y High, mientras eran ovacionados por compañeros menores y maestros.
Después, ¡llegó la hora de mojarse! Los chicos utilizaron el dinero recaudado para rentar inflables acuáticos, incluyendo un gran tobogán, una pista deslizante y una máquina de espuma.
Para cerrar el día, todos se reunieron para comer tacos y compartir recuerdos de los últimos 12 años.
Fue un día maravilloso para todos. Deseo de corazón que los estudiantes hayan disfrutado de su último día en Villa High.
