As we approach the end of the school year, our 6th grade students are diving into the exciting world of physics. We’ve been learning about real-life forces — including air resistance — and recently launched parachutes to observe how objects fall through the air.
Now we’re taking it a step further: we’re building rockets that will defy gravity. Through these hands-on activities, students are discovering how force, motion, and energy work together to make the world function.
It’s the perfect way to close out the year — and a great example of how science can be fun while also being deeply relevant to everyday life. Our students are showing not only what they’ve learned, but also how much they’ve grown.
¡Cerramos el ciclo escolar en 6º grado con la física en acción!
Mientras nos acercamos al final del ciclo escolar, los alumnos de sexto grado se están adentrando en el emocionante mundo de la física. Hemos estado aprendiendo sobre fuerzas en la vida real, incluyendo la resistencia del aire y, recientemente, lanzamos paracaídas para observar cómo los objetos caen a través del aire.
Ahora vamos un paso más allá: estamos construyendo cohetes que desafiarán la gravedad. A través de estas actividades prácticas, descubrimos cómo la fuerza, el movimiento y la energía, se combinan para hacer funcionar el mundo.
Es una excelente forma de cerrar el año, y un gran ejemplo de cómo la ciencia puede ser divertida y, al mismo tiempo, muy relevante en la vida cotidiana. Nuestros estudiantes no solo están demostrando lo que han aprendido, sino también cuánto han crecido.
