Introducing our children to the STEM world provides them with significant knowledge that help them in their future scientific subjects.
To keep encouraging our kids’ curiosity, we introduced them to the light refraction concept and the water cycle through the Little Raindrop story written by Melanie Joyce.
After that, we asked them if they knew the ingredients of a rainbow. We showed them how water can reflect color by adding light. To represent this phenomenon, our boys and girls recreated a very cool printing technique with paper foil, water markers, a sprinkler, and a white paper sheet. The results were amazing; kids were super surprised by the outcome.
¿Cómo se fabrica un arcoíris?
Iniciar a nuestros alumnos en el mundo STEM desde una edad temprana, les proporciona conocimientos significativos que les ayudarán en sus futuras materias científicas.
Con el objetivo de seguir fomentando la curiosidad de nuestros pequeños de K1, les presentamos el concepto de refracción de la luz y el ciclo del agua, con la historia “Little Raindrop”, escrita por Melanie Joyce.
Después, les preguntamos si conocían los ingredientes del arcoíris. Les mostramos cómo el agua puede reflejar colores al añadir un poco de luz. Para representar este fenómeno, nuestros niños recrearon una técnica de impresión muy divertida usando papel de aluminio, plumones de agua, un atomizador y una hoja de papel blanca.
Los resultados fueron realmente increíbles; nuestros pequeños quedaron muy sorprendidos con el resultado.
