During our project, K2 students have observed dinosaurs in different ways, however, they still wondered how big they were.
We turned the classroom into a dinosaur cave to discover it. One by one, the students stood next to one of the dinosaurs, and together, they observed the main characteristics, such as whether they had wings, a short or long neck, and the size of their tails, bodies, and legs. They also observed the shape and size of their heads and even if they had beaks. After carefully observing these characteristics, the students mentioned the size they believed each of the dinosaurs was.
We need to guide them so they can independently obtain the answers to all their questions. K2 students strengthen the skills that allow them to achieve this every day.
¿Qué tan grandes eran?
Durante nuestro proyecto, los alumnos de K2 han observado a los dinosaurios de diferentes formas; sin embargo, aún se preguntaban qué tan grandes eran.
Para descubrirlo, convertimos el salón en una cueva de dinosaurios; al entrar, uno a uno los alumnos se pararon junto a ellos y observaron sus principales características: si contaban con alas, un cuello corto o largo, el tamaño de su cola, cuerpo y patas, así como la forma y tamaño de su cabeza, incluso, si tenían picos. Después de observar detenidamente estas características, los alumnos mencionaron el tamaño que creían que cada uno de los dinosaurios tenían.
Para nosotros es muy importante guiarlos para que ellos obtengan por sí solos las respuestas a todas sus preguntas. Sin duda, los alumnos de K2 cada día fortalecen más las habilidades que les permiten lograrlo.
