As our kids have aged, we’ve wrestled a bit with how to talk to them about Thanksgiving. We want our children to learn from and do their part in making sure that all people feel seen, valued, and known. That is why we showed gratitude towards our nannies and people of maintenance who have always taken care of our kids and shown love to them. Our Happy Kinder wouldn’t be the same without you!
During class, kids learned the meaning of Thanksgiving: remind ourselves of the gifts life has bestowed and offer gratitude for all the bright moments and precious people in our lives. Kids did different activities during the day to celebrate this holiday.
Celebrando día de acción de gracias
A medida que nuestros pequeños van creciendo, se nos hace un poco difícil explicarles sobre el Día de Acción de Gracias. Queremos que aprendan y hagan su parte para garantizar que todas las personas se sientan vistas, valoradas y reconocidas. Por lo anterior, el jueves pasado mostramos gratitud hacia nuestras nanitas y personas de mantenimiento, que siempre han cuidado a nuestros niños y les han demostrado amor. ¡Nuestro Happy Kinder no sería lo mismo sin ustedes!
Durante la clase, los niños aprendieron el significado del Día de Acción de Gracias; recordamos los regalos que la vida nos ha otorgado y agradecimos por todos los momentos brillantes y las personas preciosas en nuestras vidas. Los niños realizaron diferentes actividades durante el día para celebrar esta festividad.
