Our K1 students hosted their Reggio Emilia-inspired Project Presentation: Me, Myself, and I, marking the culmination of a term spent looking at themselves to understand their bodies, emotions, and reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a three or four-year-old, \u00abself-awareness\u00bb isn&#8217;t a dry psychological concept\u2014it\u2019s the magic of realizing they have unique preferences, growing bodies, and powerful feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self-awareness is the \u00absuperpower\u00bb of social-emotional learning for our K1 students. By recognizing their own emotions, K1 children are better equipped to practice empathy for others. Nuestros alumnos de K1 presentaron su exposici\u00f3n del proyecto inspirado en Reggio Emilia: Me, Myself, and I. Esto marc\u00f3 la culminaci\u00f3n de un trimestre dedicado a explorar sus cuerpos, emociones y reacciones.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Para un ni\u00f1o de tres o cuatro a\u00f1os, la &#8216;autoconciencia&#8217; no es solo un concepto psicol\u00f3gico; es la magia de darse cuenta de que tiene preferencias \u00fanicas, cuerpos en crecimiento y sentimientos poderosos. La autoconciencia es el &#8216;superpoder&#8217; del aprendizaje socioemocional para nuestros alumnos de K1. Al reconocer sus propias emociones, est\u00e1n mejor equipados para practicar la empat\u00eda hacia los dem\u00e1s.
