Today was the end of our 6th-grade Around the World project. This was the culmination of many months’ worth of work, and it was an incredible day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past few months, our students have been learning about a new country, and today they shared one of the most important parts of culture, food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students made a traditional dish from their country, brought it to school, and not only shared their food with hundreds of students, but also shared their project, and all the work they did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was full of smiles, joy, sharing, and delicious food. I am so proud of each student who participated in this incredible day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it was a bittersweet day. It’s our last main activity in 6th grade, it’s the last activity before they leave for secondary school, but what a fantastic way to end 6th grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great job, 6th graders!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
