This week, our Kinder 3 students enjoyed a hands-on learning experience through a fun story: Ren\u00e9 the Frog and his craving for a fly<\/em>. Using the number line as their stage, the children became frogs and flies, enthusiastically jumping from number to number, exploring quantities and positions, and taking their first steps into addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity not only strengthened number recognition but also encouraged symbolic play and teamwork, incorporating body movement as a key learning tool. As Jean Piaget once said: <\/strong>\u00abPlay is the work of childhood.\u00bb<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our Coding class, we brought the story into the digital world with Dash, our robot friend, who helped represent Ren\u00e9\u2019s jumps along the number line. The children were thrilled to see their learning come to life through technology!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a day when body, mind, and imagination came together. Learning through play continues to be our favorite way to grow!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
