This time, K3C had a blast doing additions in the light lab. The light lab was filled with various tactile objects, including shells, stones, buttons, and tokens, which were vibrant and interesting to work with. Through this math journey, kids understood that if they joined two collections of these objects, they would make a new one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using tactile objects and numbers for addition in the Light Lab provides a dynamic, hands-on learning experience that enhances children’s mathematical understanding. The purpose of this activity is to help young learners grasp the concept of addition by combining visual, tactile, and numerical elements, making abstract math more concrete. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
