During the \u00abWe Are Kind\u00bb workshop that our psychologist created, kids had the opportunity to act out different situations where they needed to solve conflicts at school. Through role-playing, they practiced handling disagreements with classmates, sharing resources, and communicating in a respectful and empathetic way. The goal of this activity was to help them develop problem-solving skills, learn how to assertively express their feelings, and understand the importance of kindness and cooperation in creating a positive school environment. By acting out these scenarios, our kids continue building confidence in their ability to solve conflicts peacefully and foster better relationships with their peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, every single day we continued asking our kids: Are we kind? Are we good friends? Are you helping someone? That’s why we all together set up our workshop \u201cAre We Kind?\u201d Kids visited K2 classrooms to role-play conflict resolution, such as when someone says something that makes you feel sad. Children shared some affirmations and how emotions help us: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Anger helps us set boundaries by saying, \u201cStop, I don’t like that.\u201d <\/li>
  2. Sadness helps us cleanse our hearts when we cry.<\/li>
  3. Joy allows us to enjoy life when we jump.<\/li>
  4. Calm helps our body to rest.<\/li>
  5. Fear helps us to scream and then we can feel better.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n
