Five months have passed since the school year started and it\u2019s almost time for midterm exams. But, it\u2019s also time for our Villa High students to start their second workshop for the second semester.
In the Visual Arts Workshop all students from the three grades were able to learn more about art and show their creativity and talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They learned about the basic elements of art, the use of color, techniques and the work of several artists from around the world and where their masterpieces, murals or sculptures are on display for art lovers to enjoy. I always encourage students to use their English while listening to a native-speaking-teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s important to constantly emphasize the importance and beauty of Mexican art and traditions, so students acquire a sense of national pride and belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from all three grades also helped trace and paint the different decorations displayed in our school premises for Independence Day, Day of The Dead, Thanksgiving and Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
