Charrer\u00eda is regarded as the cavalry branch of the Army. This tradition dates back to 1942 when a group of charros was placed under the command of then-President Manuel \u00c1vila Camacho, who declared them part of the Mexican Army Reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the sport&#8217;s discipline, charros must adhere to specific additional standards and promote social values such as respect and equality. Adem\u00e1s de la disciplina deportiva, los charros deben cumplir con ciertas normas adicionales y transmitir valores sociales como el respeto y la igualdad.
