Our third graders worked really hard to prepare awesome presentations as part of a cooking project in which they had to present a recipe that was special to them. For this project, they had to create a poster that showed the ingredients and steps needed to prepare a dessert or dish they were fond of; explain why they had chosen to present that dish by relating it to a personal experience; bring a physical display of the ingredients, and show us how to carry out the recipe (they could also give out some samples if they wished to, which were absolutely delicious without exception). This project allowed students to practice their oral skills in a significant way while having fun and sharing with their classmates something they put a lot of effort in and got them feeling super excited. We want to congratulate them for such amazing presentations and also thank all the parents and family members involved in the process who made this project possible by accompanying our students every step of the way. All that hard work was worth it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
