Fine motor skills are essential in preschool children’s development. At this stage, fine motor skills, which involve controlling the small muscles of the hands and fingers, are vital in performing precise and coordinated activities. Here are some key points about their importance: preparation for writing, cognitive development, independence and self-confidence, strengthening hand-eye coordination, and stimulation of brain development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In conclusion, fine motor skills are a key foundation in the comprehensive development of preschool children since they impact multiple areas of their daily lives, both in the school environment and in the personal and social environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We carried out an activity in light lab and the students had the opportunity to exploit their fine motor skills to the maximum. Their fingers and concentration were the main elements of this activity. As a first activity, the students followed the pre-graphs with their magic finger. Later, the students put some beads on the pre-graphs, following the line, and to conclude the activity, the students had to string the same beads onto some straws using their fine tweezers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
